1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using QR Creator ("the Service"), operated by Digital Tree Myanmar ("we", "our", or "us"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

QR Creator is a web-based application that allows users to generate, customize, and download QR codes for various purposes. The Service is provided free of charge and includes features such as:

  • QR code generation for multiple data types (URLs, text, WiFi, vCards, etc.)
  • Customization options (colors, logos, patterns, sizes)
  • Multiple download formats (PNG, JPG, SVG)

3. User Responsibilities

3.1 Acceptable Use

You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You agree NOT to use the Service:

  • To create QR codes that infringe upon intellectual property rights of others

3.2 Content Responsibility

You are solely responsible for the content you encode in QR codes generated using our Service. We do not monitor, review, or validate the content of QR codes created by users.

3.3 Account Security

While our Service does not require account creation, you are responsible for maintaining the security of your device and browser. We recommend using secure, updated browsers.

4. Intellectual Property Rights

4.1 Service Ownership

The Service, including its design, code, features, and functionality, is owned by Digital Tree Myanmar and protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

4.2 Your QR Codes

You retain all rights to the content you create and encode in QR codes. We do not claim ownership of your content or generated QR codes. You may use generated QR codes for any lawful purpose, commercial or personal, without attribution.

4.3 License to Use Service

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Service for personal and commercial purposes, subject to these Terms.

5. Privacy and Data

Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle your data. Key points:

  • Local Processing: All QR code generation happens in your browser. Your content is not uploaded to our servers.
  • No Data Collection: We do not collect, store, or have access to your QR code content.
  • Analytics: We use Google Analytics (with consent) to understand general usage patterns.
  • Cookies: We use minimal cookies for preferences and analytics (with consent).

6. Disclaimers and Limitations

6.1 Service "As Is"

The Service is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not guarantee that the Service will be:

  • Always available, uninterrupted, or error-free
  • Free from viruses or other harmful components
  • Accurate, reliable, or complete
  • Compatible with all devices or browsers

6.2 QR Code Functionality

We do not guarantee that:

  • Generated QR codes will be scannable by all devices or applications
  • QR codes will work indefinitely (functionality depends on destination URLs remaining active)
  • Custom designs (logos, patterns, colors) will not affect scannability
  • Downloaded QR code files will meet specific quality requirements for all use cases

Recommendation: Always test your QR codes before production use.

6.3 Third-Party Links

The Service may contain links to third-party websites or services. We are not responsible for the content, privacy policies, or practices of third-party sites. Use of third-party links is at your own risk.

7. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, DIGITAL TREE MYANMAR SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR:

  • Any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages
  • Loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses
  • Damages resulting from your use or inability to use the Service
  • Damages resulting from unauthorized access to your content
  • Damages resulting from errors or omissions in QR code generation
  • Damages resulting from third-party conduct or content

Our total liability for any claims under these Terms shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the last 12 months (which is $0 for our free service).

8. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Digital Tree Myanmar, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from:

  • Your use of the Service
  • Your violation of these Terms
  • Your violation of any rights of another party
  • Content you create or distribute using the Service

9. Service Modifications and Termination

9.1 Changes to Service

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the Service (or any part thereof) at any time, with or without notice. We shall not be liable to you or any third party for any modification, suspension, or discontinuation.

9.2 Termination

We may terminate or suspend your access to the Service immediately, without prior notice, if you breach these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Service will cease immediately.

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Myanmar, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from these Terms or the Service shall be resolved in the courts of Myanmar.

12. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision shall be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Digital Tree Myanmar regarding the Service and supersede all prior agreements and understandings.
